Everything you could imagine is on offer for activity holidays - including some very special ones indeed. The adventurous can explore the Causeway Coast & Glens literally from top to bottom. This is because one day you could be scuba-diving onto the wrecks that litter our coastline; the next day you could be reaching the dizzy heights by gliding in the extensive thermal currents over Magilligan.

Marvel at the speed of the motorbikes in the International North West 200 road race and cheer on the hundreds of young footballers who travel from all over Europe and beyond to play in the Northern Ireland Milk Cup and Ballymena International Soccer Tournaments. And when watching the Portrush Raft Race don’t blink, you might miss the most creative raft sink!

Have wet suit will waterski or jetski, windsurf or catch the waves on a body board. Join the surf set as they attempt to barrel the breakers before dissolving into froth on the beach. Don’t worry about equipment - it’s all for hire.

At many sites including Rathlin Island, Portmuck and Whitehead, dive deep into the dark salty waters in search of the ancient shipwrecks and the treasures they hide.

Boatmen can tie up at one of the many marinas. Check out the world class facilities at Carrickfergus Maritime Area or travel further north to Ballycastle, Portglenone, Glenarm or Coleraine.

Try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, stride out across the broad expanse of the Antrim Plateau as you follow the vast array of trails and footpaths, or clear the cobwebs with a beach gallop or a relaxing forest ride. Then there’s bowling, karting, tennis, abseiling, rafting, canoeing, birdwatching, or painting… the choice of activities is endless.
