We know that one of the great pleasures of travelling is learning more about the region you visit. We’ve made that easy and inviting with interpretive centres, lively re-enactments, vibrant and colourful museums and galleries, festivals, shows ….. even a working spade mill!

For us the culture of the past is very much part of the present so be prepared to learn about our traditional arts not in a musty museum, but in a lively story-telling or music ‘session’ in a local pub!

		Ballymoney Museum Ballymoney Come and see the exciting new exhibitions at Ballymoney Museum, recently opened following a £400,000 re-development supported by Heritage Lottery Fund.
		Mid-Antrim Museum & Arts Centre at the Braid Ballymena The Mid-Antrim Museum, offers a fascinating experience for all the family. The museum boasts two large state of the art exhibition galleries.
		Flame! The Gasworks Museum Of Ireland Carrickfergus Carrickfergus boasts Ireland's sole surviving coal gasworks and is one of the only three left in the British Isles. Opened in 1855, it supplied Carrickfergus with gas made from coals for over 100 years.
		Patterson's Spade Mill Templepatrick, Ballyclare Listen to the hammers, smell the grit, feel the heat and witness the thrill of the only surviving water-driven spade mill in Ireland.
		Carrickfergus Museum Carrickfergus The Museum presents an exhibition of treasure excavated in Carrickfergus. There are multi-media and audio-visual presentations.
		The Coastal Zone Portrush National Nature Reserve Portrush The Coastal Zone is home to coastal and marine exhibitions. Indoor rock pool with live sea creatures.
		Green Lane Museum Limavady Step back in time by visiting the Green Lane Museum, located at the Roe Valley Country Park, approximately one mile from Limavady. Here, the visitor can view historical exhibits relating to the linen and agricultural industries from a bygone age ...
		North Antrim Agricultural Association Ballymoney Ballymoney Show provides fun for all by promoting the best in rural Ulster from prime livestock to top class equestrian classes, UFC events, schools' exhibitions, home industries and trade stands. A great family day out.
		Ballycastle Museum Ballycastle Folk/social history of the Glens in the town's 18th-century courthouse. Exhibits include the Taisie banner of the first Feis na nGleann (1904).
		Living History - Magilligan Martello Tower Limavady Learn about life for the garrison of this early 19th Century Fort in the company of a Living History guide.
