Spectacular Flight

If flying into a major airport has you glued to the window, just imagine the views from a small plane or helicopter as you wheel with the seagulls around Ireland’s most northerly coastline, following the Giant’s Causeway or swoop over glens and hilltops. Pleasure flights can be chartered just for you, or join a sightseeing trip.

Zorbing

If you’ve ever wanted to sample life in a giant transparent hamster ball, this could be your lucky break.  The zorb is a pvc sphere with another ball inside and a trapped layer of air between the two to absorb the shock (as if!).  Climb in and you could be careering down a mountainside... rolling over silver sands... spinning along a river... one way or another you’ll never forget your first zorb experience!

Not the giant commercial ferries, but an up close and personal experience you’re unlikely to forget!  Try hovercrafting in one man (or woman!) hovercrafts on Ireland's first  purpose built hovercraft track.   Race around a course in the shadow of the dramatic Binevanagh Mountain and the Hills of Donegal and, when/if you get your breath back, you can have a go at other outdoor leisure pursuits including archery, laser clay pigeon shooting and power turn buggies!

Great waves come rolling in from the Atlantic right across the year, with Autumn a prime time for catching waves of 6-8 feet.  The East and West Strands at Portrush, when it is pumping, hold an awesome wave and there is huge debate locally about which strand is best.  Try them both and air your opinions with the locals as you warm up in the local pubs and cafes or mooch around the excellent surf shops.  Opportunities for all levels of surfers and a great place to try out the sport with expert guidance.
