History, myth and magic combine and come to life in the Causeway Coast and Glens and we take pleasure in sharing the stories and tales of our past with others.

Our museums, grand houses, gardens and historical sites illustrate our history in powerful fashion, while creative interpretive centres make it as easy as it is enthralling to learn. Ancient sites hold special attraction, often seemingly frozen in time, but offering a glimpse of life as it used to be.

Follow in the footsteps of St Patrick and stand on the windswept slopes of the beautiful Slemish Mountain, Ballymena where once he tended sheep, or listen to a story-teller’s traditional tales in a pub and you will be inspired anew by the rich heritage that is Ireland’s history.
