Travel: Your Choice

Causeway Coast and Glens encompasses much of the ‘top end‘ of Ireland, but distances from point to point within the region are not large by international standards. That makes it just perfect for exploring independently and there is no need to be nervous about finding your way around …. If you should get lost, the locals will be only too happy to help!

Many of our visitors arrive by sea from ferries coming in via Larne or Belfast or via the Province’s main airports in Derry or Belfast. Others arrive by coach or car, often taking in Causeway Coast and Glens as part of a wider Irish tour. Once here, driving is the most popular way to see around: self drive, chauffer drive or coach tour.

There’s no need to feel daunted about the prospect of finding your way around. We have great guides and lots of organised tours available, but going-it-alone is also a comfortable option. The Causeway Coastal Route with its distinctive brown and white signs is a waymarked route around 120 miles of the region’s most fabulous scenery and most internationally significant attractions.   It’s an easy starting point for your holiday planning …. although we’re fairly sure you’ll find yourself tempted to explore still further once you’re here!

We’re looking forward to welcoming you!
